Netbook has a virus. Windows 7, Home Premium

Specs: Windows 7
32 bit.

Yesterday my netbook was infected with some kind of virus from an install file.

As soon as i started installing, the netbook slowed down for about 10 minuted then crashed.

I have not been able to succesfully login, normally or safe modes, without getting the blue screen of death with memory dump at some point. Usually right way, sometimes after a bit of time goes by.

One time I was able to download and install Avast!, but during the full scan it crashed.

I triedl loggin in safe mode to do the virus scans, but it keeps crashing.

One thing i noticed, is one of the times i was able to login before it creashed, i went to manage my computer to do a check on the disk drive, but it didn't list the if it didn't exist.

Does anyone have any advice for me?

If not, would i be able to take the hard drive out of the netbook and install it into my home PC and let my home PCs Eset scan the drive for virus? Not sure if that would be safe or even work.

I've taken the drive out and put it into my PC and ran ESET on it, it can't remove the virus, but found out it is: olmarik.ajl
