Need Xp update advice

I haven't had the internet for the past 8 months and just started again. What Microsoft security updates does anyone reccommend or not reccommend.

M$ says I need 26 crutial updates, are there some updates that ppl had trouble with?

curantly all the updates are fairly safe. not like one or two that would screw your computer. like in the past. safe for now can,t say how next one will be. it is microsucks after all!

Set Windows Update to "automatic download" and walk away.

My other machine has them all with no problems whatsoever.
