need to remove Adware.Purityscan

CPU/Ram: 1.7ghz/1gigram

my antivirus symantec picked up that i was infected with adware called "Adware.Purityscan" it only gives me the choice to stop the process but every reboot it comes back. very annoying!!

this is what ive tried:

adaware fully updated
spy bot search and destory fully updated
ewido anti spyware fully updated

scanned in normal and safe mode

i also tried online scans at "panda" and "Kaspersky"

it will pick it up but keeps coming back.

need intructions for removal! thanks for your help

Try removing it manually. You can find PurityScan manual removal instructions here and here.

The files listed in manual remove are not on my computer, but still it pops up with each boot up.
