Specs: Windows XP
Hi I dont have any really huge problems, like popups or anything, but I have a file that runs on startup and causes my computer to run a little slower than normal and sound louder than normal (almost like how it sounds when performing a scan) I believe the file that I need to remove is a metastreamctl class viewpoint ActiveX file, but I cant locate it anymore, but I know its still there and causing this problem. I need someone to please help me remove it, or anything else that needs to be removed for that matter. PLease advise, thanks.

Did you see something rare running on the task manager?.
How you know is runnig?
Activex controls only run when a website like Microsoft need it.
Go to your task manager and look for any program that is run with a high CPU usage. If you find something that is run on your name (administrator) end the task and see if this resolve it, it so look if you can disable from startup.
