OS: XP SP2
CPU/Ram: 2.00ghz 768mb
Model/Manufacturer: custom
Comment:
Widows XP has recently died on me and I have since then reinstalled a different boot of it on a different hard drive. I want to access my old users files that had a password on them and we set as "make files private" by windows when I put a password onto the account. On this boot of windows I cannot access the files because of the "Access is denied" due to the private files thing. I have tried safe mode under administrator and turning the private files off but the OS crashes in safe mode before I am able to. Is there any other way I can try to get into the files?
