Last night was searching google for some crochet patterns and came upon a site that restarted the computer and I had spyware galore and zone alarm had a red X and wouldn't work and now I have nothing. When I try to open it hour glass flashes and nothing.

Scanned using adaware and spybot and removed some and my AVG which I keep updated ran a scan with that and didn't find anything and all is working fine now but I have no firewall.

When I click to turn zone alarm on hour glass flashes but nothing happens. Tried to uninstall and get this message.

"True vector monitor was not uninstalled
The uninstaller was not able to stop the true vector software services
This will happen if other software is using true vector engine
To uninstall make sure all other true vector based programs have been closed"

Tried to install from the zone alarm site and get a message set up is unable to log into true vector service install can't continue. Use service manager to shut down true vector service and restart installer.

Have no clue what to do so I can't get zone alarm on here and working, help please. Mary

Never mind, I finally got it all sorted. I looked in running processes again and saw something for zone alarm I missed and shut it down then it un-installed fine and I was able to re-install and all is working and spyware and junk are all gone too. Mary
