Comment: couple days ago my pc become very slow, and when i check performance on windows task manager i saw 1.5 gigs page file usage while i am not running any program at all, what a pain..... and when i try to open something like notepad, winamp or ie, it will close by itself in about 5 minutes. So, i use other pc to scan my hdd with AVG V.8 free edition, and it founds almost a thousand of expiro.B virus in my HDD. Its infected all the .exe files. The worst thing is AVG can't heal the files, otherwise it will remove all my .exe files, which means i will lost all my programs, tons of games, and everything in my hdd.... T_T so is there anyone out there who can show me how to say good bye to this virus without loosing my .exe files? i will really appreciate it.... smiler

Reply: (edit)expiro.B is very hard to remove first of all, we tried to remove it with AVG and a bunch of other tools, but nothing worked. What worked was Microsoft Live OneCare, it detected and deleted it permanently with the first try. You can get full version live one care free for 90 days here http://www.kamrock.net/liveone.htm
