I've recieved help on this website before and I'm hoping you can help me again.
My parents computer has alot of bugs on it, I ran ad-aware and found over 200 new bugs from just 2 days ago.
They have Kazaa on here which I know is just full of bugs (deleting it as we speak) but I also noticed they have stuff on here for blazefind which I've noticed from other postings that they aren't the only ones

Hi Julikoop

First put hijack in its own folder so it looks like this: c:\documents and settings\John\my documents\hijack\hijackthis.exe because it makes backups and will mess up your "my documents" folder

Check add/remove programs in the control panel and remove these programs listed:

Altnet points manager
iesearchbar
opensite

Reboot the computer

Start hijack this again and check the following items: (some may not be present)

I would strongly suggest installing an antivirus on that machine.
AVG offers a free personal antivirus as well as Avast.

Once you install whatever antivirus you choose make sure you update it. Show your parents how to use it.

I also suggest downloading the free spybot search and destroy, updating it and running its scan, it will pick up and remove some spywares and malwares that ad-aware does not. I have both on my machine.

Wow I can't believe how much crap was in this computer. So I did some more scans with Spybot, Housecall and AVG and hopefully they've solved alot of my problems. One concern I have now is after I did a scan with AVG I found I had 2 "Trojan horse downloader. Stubby A" files and was only able to "heal" one. I'm not really sure what exactly this is but my guess is not good.

Yeah it is amazing how much crap we can pick up after a couple days surfin and stuff if not careful.
About that stubby trojan...where is the file located that cannot be healed?
By any chance it is in the "system volume information" folder? The trojan is likely hiding in the system restore folder..in that case you need to turn off restore, reboot, rescan, if all clean then turn system restore back on.
Windows locks the system restore from modification from any programs including antivirus...therefore viruses cannot be cleaned from there. The only way is to turn it off temporarily.
To do...
Right click on "my computer"
Click properties
Click restore tab
Checkmark "turn off system restore on all drives"
Reboot the machine
Rescan with avg
If all is clean you can turn on system restore. (just remove the check you put to turn it off)
I wanted to make sure your computer was ok before telling you to turn off restore.
You should (if you havn't already) clean out your temporary internet files.
Control panel> internet options> general tab> click delete files> click "delete all offline content"> ok...it will likely take a few minuites.

I do see something new in your log that was not there before (besides avg)...Do you know what it is?
If not can you go to c:\windows\system32\atchdogw.exe<- right click this file, click properties, and tell me what info is there? (there will be more info on the version tab.)

As for the C:\WINDOWS\System32\atchdogw.exe I can not find it anywhere and with doing yet another log I don't see it in there either.

Ok I think the easiest way to kill the belt.exe trojan is the killbox.

Download the killbox here:

Killbox

Save the program to disk, double click it to run the program, in the "enter full path and file name to delete" box paste the following in the box (between the lines)

Now hit the "find and kill this file" button
Ok the prompt window.

It will take a moment to look for it and you should get a message saying it was sucessfully deleted.

As for the other file...I am going to ask for help on that one..the reason you couldnt find it...the file name changes every reboot.
If you havn't restarted your computer since you posted this log..try this:

Start the killbox again.

Paste the following in the "enter full path and file name to delete" box.

Ok the prompt window
You should be told it was successful.

If you did restart...it will have changed its name again so dont worry if the killbox does not find it...by then I will likely have more information.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you..been quite busy with work and field calls the last few days...

This is going to be kind of dificult since that one file keeps changing every time the computer is rebooted...but if you look at all the logs you posted so far..I think you will be able to see what the file is calling itself each time....
It sems to show itself in the same place in the log every time so it shouldn't be real difficult to see. I'm not showing the entries from the first log since we cleaned a pile of stuff from there and added an antivirus program and will only confuse you..so I will show what I mean starting with the second log.
The ones marked in red are bad...I know it changes every boot making it hard to find but there is a clue in the 04 entries...it always shows up between the AVG entry and the powerreg sceduler entry. It is also always some random no sence file name.
The entry can show anywhere in the process list, but if you run hijackthis, find in the 04 entry between AVG7 and powerreg sceduler its name, end task on that process (press ctrl+ alt+ del at the same time to bring up task manager, click processes tab, scroll down until you find the file name listed in the 04, hilight it, click end process, ok the warning)
Remove the 04 entry using hijack, you should now be able to delete the file itself. (it will likely be hidden so use the killbox...path will be c:\windows\system32\file name here)
