I'm trying to clean a friends computer. It's a bit difficult as he didn't bring his monitor and I can't access the net on his system. (I'm on ADSL he's got dial-up)According to 'Trend Micro' anti-virus he's infected with "startpge.bf" in the file windows\csrss.exe. I presume this is the SAME as startpAge ?? He had a pile of rubbish that I cleared out with Adaware but I have no idea of how to clean this last item. I'm getting very frustrated and would appreciate any help.

Try "the cleaner" from www.moosoft.com It has a 30day free trial, so try scanning the comp with it!

SOLVED! Finally fixed the swine! Stopped it from running at start-up and looks as if it's gone now.
