im sure i have a virus. Yesterday i was browsing when my anti virus said that a "Agent.ODG" virus attack happened and that the infected file was deleted. Today i boot up my computer and notice that internet is very slow and browser is working slowly. So i thought maybe its the virus so i tried to update my anti virus thing. It doesnt work. Then i try finding an working free antivirus program. I tried spybot and it didnt launch. I tried hijack this, Anti-Malware, some online scanners, most of other programes i found mentioned here and nothing launched. Whats even worse is that i cant access any anti virus software related site and i cant download updates for whatever software i do manage to run. I fired up an application that shows internet connections. There were around 300 connections from svchost. Earlier there were usually no more than 20. I tried to fix this myself but i cant get any antivirus software to work. I need experts advice now.

Do a virus,spyware,etc.. on safe mode.If you found anything bad put the malware on a folder or whatever your software want to do,just remember where is that bad file. Go back in normal mode and search for the file and get it on a floppy or CD.Clean all the temp. internet files,cache,etc. of all your browsers.Scan again. If you find something do the same as i mention above then backup and then do a system restore.If the problem persist, you will need to re-install youe or repair your OS.
