i've been baby sitting someone elses wfw 3.11 machine for several years
now, i'm trying to keep their Windows XP Home machine functional
Their Norton Anti Virus Subscription expired
Should I insist they renew, change to McAffee or try a free ware AntiVirus Program??
Are any of the Freeware Antivirus programs any good??

Is a very good antivirus/antimalware program it is $40 online

i downloaded and installed Avast last night and found the download link for AVG
we shall see how Avast works
i think i'm going to recommend a non microsoft OS
does linux / lindows have these type of security issues??
what about IBM PC/OS2, et al???
MAC? /APPLE??
Solaris/Sun/Cisco??
BeOS/....???

There are allot of free ones out there, AVG/ Avast/Bitdefender/ ClamWin ... There are others as well, just do a google search.. Or Check here: http://majorgeeks.com/
