Hi,
I just scanned my computer with the Panda anti virus detection program (freeware). The result was that I have a lot of Viruses and Spyware programs installed on my computer. What should I do? Can anyone recommend an anti virus progam that I should use to remove these viruses? Do I need a program or is there any freeware that will do the job? I appreciate any help!

Thanks for the help! I got an error message when I tried to install the program. The message read something like "wrong license number". Does anyone know what is wrong?

Reply: Agh..............just read your post "properly": Windows Defender is for XP only!!!! Apologies! AVG (anti virus) will be perfectly OK as will the other "Google" programs for spy and adware.

No problem. I should have pointed out that it is the AVG program that is the problem. The error message read something like "wrong license number".
