I have been running across this issue for the last few days now.

PC’s are unable to access https sites, download updates, access yahoo messenger, or do anything else containing secure info.

The problem has come down to an issue with NAV script blocking.

If you manually remove NAV everything comes up and runs fine.

Has anyone run into this issue and knows what the cause is?

Possibly a windows update, NAV update, ad ware, spy ware?

Quick update...

Running services.msc you will see the script blocking service set to Auto start but not running.

If you start the script blocking service the SmyWMI service stops.

Restarting the SmyWMI service will cause the script blocking service to stop.

Is there a fix? It's got me too. Save I can't start script blocking service...or I can but it stops straight away.
