Hi all, I can't install the LiveReg file after the liveupdate download from Symantec site, it prompt error message "Unable to write file, file is in used. Pls close all the NAV application and try again". I need help to resolve this problem, thanks

If you upgarded from a previous version like 2002 or 2003, you can use Symantec's removal tool rnav.2003. Uninstall NAV and use the tool. There is no removal tool for 2004 out that I am aware of. The other thing to check, is to determine what version of live update you have(control panel>add/remove programs). The latest version is 2.0. you can obtain it from Symantec's website. Install it and see what happens, sometimes upgrading live update will help.

Many of us regard NAV as a virus. It's the Liveupdate feature which is so problematic. Search the archives above for "Liveupdate" and see what you get. If I bought a computer with NAV on it, the first thing I'd do is remove NAV.
