What are the relative advantages/disadvantages of using
"Comprehensive file scanning" vs "Smartscan" when setting up NAV's Auto Protect???

I have a friend running W2K on an old P233 machine, and it runs very slow with Comprehensive turned on, and fairly faster with Smartscan...but he has been getting a lot of Sircam and Badtrans virus' lately, so if switching to "comprehensive" significantly lowers the protection, I don't want to do that...

thanx
Steve
