I did not beta it but have known a few who have and they were pleased except the product activation MAY be a problem, like WIN XP could have been early-on.

Also, I do believe the PROTECTED RECYCLE BIN is part of NAV 2004.

Thanks EC! Symantec is the most pirated software in the world, so the product activation is supposed to prevent pirating. I have heard that the activation is only good for one computer.

Yes, it's for 1 PC AND you must be careful about what changes are made, hardware, etc, due to it taking a snapshot of the PC at install, so that way it can see if it is being installed on another PC.
BUT there are way legitimate ways around it, thru Symantec.
Besides, NAV being stolen so much, can't hardly blame them for taking this measures, but my verdict is still out on the final results, on society.
Clearly, it will help Symantec, likely considerably, but at what cost.
Makes me think of the Patriot Act now, as many are reconsidering it's effects.
At some point, invasion of privacy, extreme loss of constitutional rights, must be weighed vs. the need for good security.
It's a very good argument either way.
