Hello,
Reading up about System Restore, should I make it priority when updating avg/ spyware guard / ad aware etc. weekly, turning System Restore “off” and after turning “on” again.
As usual your opinions I always appreciate,

Microsoft Service Pack Quetion.
Microsoft handed out free Service Pack 2 disk which I ordered well over a year ago ,but never did downloaded . There where so many different opinions
i dont think its neccessary to turn system restor off and then on just for updating your software, AVG updates all most everyday so what would be the point of doing it weekly.
it is a good idea however to turn it off, restart, turn it on again and create a NEW restore point every now and then possibly, 2 weeks, maybe monthly.
but for the purpose of merly updating your software, i dont see how that would help.
