Ok, I know there has been topics like this posted before about my web search, but, ive tried all suggestions and i still have it apparently.
any help would be greatly appreciated. i already tried to remove the my web search entry in hijackthis 4 times and it wont go away. ive removed the program from add/remove programs. im deleted the folders off of the C: drive... and it just wont go away. i guess it likes me! :)

did you try turning off system restore and then removing it? It may be in there by the sounds of it. Don't forget to turn restore back on after the removal
