my web search toolbar

Specs: Windows Vista
Recently on my home computer I accidentally downloaded webfetti. It has installed my web search as my home page and browser. I go into my add/remove programs and it is not there. I dont know how to get rid of it...someone please help

You can use this tool Once
installed, on the main menu, choose tools. You will see a list
of installed programs, look for my web search and click run
uninstaller. This is a known malware application, you may
have other instances of malware on your machine now.

Once You have removed the MyWeb Search toolbar,

Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Be sure to rename it and save it to the desktop call it

Reboot your machine and tap f 8 at start up which will give
you the option to boot into safe mode with networking.

Log into you administrator account.

Double click cham.exe and when it is done installing choose
the update tab, and update it.

Do a quick scan and see if you infected or not. If you are you
can post the log back here and someone will look at it and tell
you what options you have next!
