I was smart enough to download a virus called Kelvir-A. It got spread trough many kinds of messaging systems last week. Since then I found a program that deleted it, but when I got back online I realized that I couldn't log on to MSN. I could not log into hotmail either. Or any other mail service for that matter.
Does anyone have any idea what to do?

I have the same problem. It is the cute.pif virus that was spread around a while ago. I followed all the norton instructions to get rid of it, but it's still not working for me. So I'm on the verge of reformattting my computer, though I really don't want to cuz I'd be losing a lot of files. You can try looking up the cute.pif from norton and follow what it says. Hope you have better luck than I did. And while I'm at it, if anyone can possibly figure out why I still can't use my MSN or hotmail even after doing what norton told me to do, I would greatly appreciate it. And yes I tried the online PC-Cillin scan and the Panda scan and I used Ad-Ware. Still can't get it though. If anyone got suggestions please leave a post here, since I can't exactly access my e-mail right now.
Thanks
