Hi,
a week ago I removed the Benjamin worm from my Computer. Ever since I have had this crazy worm, and even after it was gone, my mouse is just acting crazy!! It doubleclicks all the time when I single-click. I have checked the settings, and they are normal, i.e. I have not set the mouse to a "Web-style", meaning that it double clicks when I single-click. I have NOT done that. I just don't know what to do! Also, it does not drag and drop anymore. Do you think it is possible that Benjamin spoiled something in Windows (I have Win 98)? He has also infected Notepad and Calculator, which I must have accidentally removed from my system with the anti-virus software.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Judith

Might be a good idea to run an online scan at either Panda or House Call to make sure you are virus free
Good luck

hi judith,
after you've re-scanned your puter with panda or housecall, go to the controll panel and click on mouse, when in the mouse properties box you can re-configure your mouse properties. You may find that a double clicking is the default. Also as a word of advice, double clicking is always better, reason being, when opening up your e-mail prog. you may want to highlight your e-mail first, so that you can perform a manual scan.
cheers,
murve
