download and run ad aware and also spybot software, as both are spyware scanners. Also, spybot has a homepage lock feature whereby your homepage cannot be changed unless you make it yourself. Also, visit www.spywareinfo.com

Hi Sunny, I share your pain. Internet options will not open on my computer either. If I use the tools button on the tool bar I get locked out. However, if I try - Start/Settings/Control Panel -Bingo, I'm in. You'll need to fill in the address window with the addy of the page you want to have as your Home Page, tho. That works in my Win98/IE5.0. Hope it works for you. Computers can drive one batty, right?
