Try to start the computer in safe mode and choose "last known good configuration" if you are able to boot to safe mode.

Restart your computer
After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
Select "last known good configuration", then press "Enter".
Choose your usual account.

The problem is most likely that one of these files has been corrupted and needs to be replaced:

You can replace them using the recovery console. Do a google search on how to replace them using that method. Try winlogon.exe first.
