everytime i go onto google and then click on a link i am redirected to another site, mainly shoping sites.

Try System Restore. Restore it to the date earlier of problem occured. Update your Anti Virus, Internet Security etc., Try some registry cleaner. Start Disk Clean up and delete unwanted and unnecessary files. It may solve your problem.
