Everytime i start up my comupter avast antivirus does a scan and every day it picks up an adaware called mwinlodt. I always choose to delete it but i noticed that it comes up again a few hours later. This was wierd to me and so i decided to choose move to chest instead of delete and what i found out is that there are multiple mwinlodt infections on my computer. Can anyone tell me what it is and why it never goes away? Also can it harm my computer in any way?

where is the file located? Temp files, restore files, etc? Have you used the basic spyware tools? Spybot S&D (be sure to immunize) Adaware SE (the old version not the 2007 version...I had problems with the new version) Spyware Blaster. MWINLODT.EXE is a file recently detected by the Prevx database. This file is yet to be determined globally as Good or Bad, therefore it is currently classified as Unknown.
