Muultiple instances of IE..??

When I check Task Manager, I notice multiple instances of IE running (each consuming about 25MB - 35MB of memory!), yet I have no open windows of IE on my desktop.
I run Norton Antivirus every day. I have removed spyware using Spybot and Ad-Aware.

Download Process Explorer at http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/procexp.shtml to find out what it is, and what's making it run.

Also, you must keep you Spybot and Adaware updated--no more than 3 day intervals. Also make sure all your sytems are updated--IE, Windows, Outlook evven if you don;t use it, it will affect IE.
