First of all, thanks for looking at this thread. The problem with my computer is that for some reason, mutiple iexplore.exe keep opening in the 'background'. How i know is through pressing Alt + Ctrl + Delete. The funny thing is that Iexplore.exe is supposed to be the browser but i don't see any broswers popping up or what. I have tried ending these Iexplore.exe with the Alt + Ctrl + Delete but they just come back, more and more. They eat up my RAM such that i have to restart my com very often. I have tried various solutions like Online Scans, Virus Scans, Ad-Scans(E.g McAfee, NAV, Ad-Aware) but to no avail. I suspect it might nt be an virus or trojan. Thus, i am posting up this problem. Hope that someone out there know how to solve this problem. Below is my HijackThis scan:

Thanks Valarie but i don't think this is the exact solution to my problem. I have tried doing what the page suggests like removing the registry but i don't even see the registry so i believe that the page is not the solution to my problem but thanks anyway. The thing is driving me crazy.

just some correction to what i said: i mean i cannot find the entries in the registry that the virus should create thus i believe it's not the virus Valarie suggested.

You have a virus. Do an online virus scan at http://security.norton.com/

Most likely:
