Hi im just posting to see what i can find out about svchost.exe i know that its usaully a legit windows exe but i noticed that i have alot of svchost.exe's running when i start my pc up this picture is after a start up.
There probably just legit windows exe's because my pc isnt showing any sypmtoms of having a virus but id like to know why theres so many of them running.

You can download a free program called Process Explorer (owned by MS). It sort of like hijackthis in that you can look at all the processes running in your machine. One of the things Process Explorer shows that Hijackthis doesnt is whats running under svchost.exe . There may be be multiple programs running under each svchost. In Process Explorer. Hover your mouse over each svchost.exe process listed and a drop down will list the names of each program running under that host. You can then google the names of any you do not recognise.
