My friend's MSN is stuffed. She pops up and says, "is this you? http://www.imdownloads.net/profile.php?msn=hotmailaddress" replacing hotmailaddress with my email. How does she remove it?

Have you did a search in the search box at the top of this page? There are a lot of posts on msn virus. You might find your answer there.
