Please can anyone help?

My laptop has been infected with a virus today (4 August 2005). I received a message from someone in my contacts list saying "hey, is this you?" and a URL.
http://www.vbulettin.com/msn.php?email=davewoodall17@hotmail.com
Clicking on the URL launches the virus.
My MSN Messenger client now sends the same message to others in my contact list.
So far the virus has inhibited E-Mail and Internet connectivity, and terminated Norton Anti-virus 2005 live protection

Has anyone else been unfortunate enough to get this virus or knows how to detect/get rid of it?

Hi i have also got this worm, i used the symantec website however all i can do is delete values in the registry, at the most this has allowed me to re-open microsoft antispyware, not that it helps me much, and disabled from sending the link to ppl on msn. I have also managed to uninstall and reinstall norton but that's it it is still disabled...
I have heard rumours that microsoft are releasing something on tuesday 9th aug. If you search W32 chod on www.download.com on tuesday hopefully there will be something there.
