I'm assuming MSN is your ISP. Your best protection against a hack is a strong, personal firewall. There's no way to find out if someone is trying to hack MSN's servers unless MSN decided to tell you--which they won't. 8-)

As Solarian said the best protection against hackers is a good firewall.
What is happening to make you think you are getting hacked?
One of the easiest ways to get hacked is if you accepted a file through msn (or any other chat prog) that contains a trojan. That would allow the hacker access to your pc.
I would run a complete virus/trojan scan.
