mpldfg.exe virus, i need help!!

i have found this virus on my computer. once i deleted it from the computer, i keep getting an error that it cannot find that file and will not let me get into any programs. how can i fix this? i have seen some fixes to go in and mess with the registry keys but when i go to run it wont do anything. the same error comes up about not being able to find mpldfg.exe.
