We are getting tired of our EZ Armor not doing anything, and my mother's I.T. guy says it's no good. We have done some reaserch, and have came up with this list. AVG, NOD32, PC-Cillin, or BitDefender. Is there anything better? Norton and McAfee are just too big, and out of the question.

Looks like we'll be getting PC-Cillin.

Does anyone know how fast is is?

IMO the speed of AV software shouldn't be a consideration unless it's a resource hog. What's more important is how effective the software does its job.

And by the way, whenever you run AV scan, give yourself a break such as going to the beach or dipping in the pool for fun.

If you haven't already done so, check out NOD32. It is great with a small footprint.

I think it's the best I've tried and I've tried quite a few over the years.
