Seems like even Zone Alarm--the company itself!--is recommending that users stay with version 4.5 until they get the bugs out of 5.0.

Read about this and more in the latest issue of the LangaList under the heading ZA5 Reactions.

Thanks Solarian...a very interesting read, indeed! I'm sticking to my 4.5 also.

Thanks Solarian - this confirmed that ZA5 is a fiasco - right from ZA's mouth.

I tried the new 5.0 for about 2 days and went back to 4.5, does anyone know if ZA4.5 will be updated while they are fixing 5.0?

I guess my take on this is , if 4.5 works ok for most people then why even upgrade ? I know some people like to stay on the bleeding edge .

Yes, this is easily manipulated by many trojans and worms these days....I tried to install it on a machine and before I could finish the installer it was disabled, and the trojan was back looking for the network...

Of course installing Tiny, no more trojan activity, and we could then isolate and kill.
