I am getting an error message when Windows starts up that I am missing a bridge.dll file. The start up is also extremely slow now. I believe it happened after I ran an ad-aware scan on my system. I ran HijackThis and wanted to post my information on this forum, but got a message saying not to post HiJack This results unless requested to by an expert. I have already read other posts from people with a similar problem but I still need help!

Tabitha: Since you are not getting any response here, try this:

and put bridge.dll in the search bar, there is an awful lot of traffic about bridge.dll on this site.

Open Notepad, and enter the following:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] "RunDLL"=-

Close the file (save it to your desktop for easy relocation), then double click on the file. The computer will interpret your "open" command as instructions to run the little applet in the file, and will ask you if you wish to save the update. You select yes, and voila – your problem is gone!
