Comment:

When I search something on the internet say using google. I get the links I want however when I click on them they often send me to some other crappy search site with their results to the search I just did. Its really frustrating and it makes me want to blow up that crappy search sites computers. It has also made me realize I need to secure my computer more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need:

1. SpywareBlaster from
www.wilderssecurity.net/spywareblaster.html
2. SpyBot Search and Destroy from-
www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=download
3. Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com
4. CWShredder from
www.merijn.org
scroll to Jan 24 and get CWWWSearch.SmartKiller.removal tool then
Jan 19 2004 and get CWShredder
Run removal tool first as instructed
To use CWShredder click "Fix"

All the programs are free (you can make a donation if you desire) and need regularly updateing - weekly at least.

SpywareBlaster will run in the background and the others will require manual running.

Good luck.
