I might have a trojan.downlaod.(something)on my system. I have trend micro antivirus, Microsoft Antispyware, and Zonealarm pro. No program gave any warning. My computer has given no symptoms yet.

Thanks a LOT

I downloaded a .exe file from a p2p network, and Zonealarm asked if I wanted to let it create a process. I always denied it. I sent it to "virusscan.jotti.org". There, some scanners found a trojan.downloader.(something, I dont remember.)A file called "blackbox" with a long number after appeared on my C: drive. I immediately deleted both files. Trend micro couldn't find anything, even when I had those files. If you want, I can post here a HijackThis! log.

Thanks very much

If you're not experiencing symptoms, and your various scans reveal no infection, then this might very well be 'much ado about nothing'

You could try an an online scan at Panda or Kaspersky etc. - if those also reveal nothing, that might be an indication

We've heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the complete works of Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know that is not true
