I am trying to setup VPN clients to connect to a checkpoint-1 firewall in a NAT environment. Currently using the checkpoint secureremote software which works great and issues a company ip address to the client even when behind a router address.
Does anyone know if the Microsoft VPN client using l2tp is now compatible with Nokia checkpoint 1 Firewall.
I cannot get his to work unless i give the client a public IP address, the checkpoint knowledgebase seems to indicate that the MS VPN client using L2TP does not work with NAT.
