Comment:

Microsoft Internet Explorer keeps throwing up a window trying to force me to install Security Center. I cannot not turn it off I cannot stop it from coming back time after time. I uninstalled the Win Security Center I had on my computer but it still shows up and it keeps telling me I have a firewall on when the page with the settings clearly show it is off. I need to stop the pop up and totally remove security center from my computer any suggestions.. Thanks
Jim

Jim Smith,

Which IE version are you using, 6 or 7 ?

Try setting the IE security setting to "Default Level" as,

Go to "Tools" --> "Internet Options" --> "Security" --> "Default Level"
