Hi guys,
I remember reading about the MS anti-spyware utility before its release but I wasn't convinced I needed it.
I still haven't installed it...I mean wouldn't spybot,Adaware, spywareblaster AV and 2 firewalls be sufficient protection?
Does the MS tool find objects which the others dont?

Yes it does. Simply put, each program uses different set of algorithms for its search enhine. This explain why you need to use two similar program such as Ad-Aware and Spybot and why you should also use M$'s very own.

I think there are mixed reviews on MS-Antispy. Captain Cody on one of our radio stations 'Seems to be?' is a PC Guru and has told her listeners that she would not use MS-Anti as it is still in the Beta stages and causes quite a few problems on different PC's. She has said she would wait for the final version.
So who knows?

Beta software can be dangerous. I always wait for the finished product.

Would you drive your car before the automotive factory had done all the testing, building and finishing? Might be dangerous?
I would want a finished car with a warranty and support.

First is sometimes the worst.
