I am running windows XP and recently downloaded microsoft anti spyware from the microsoft site. It worked fine until yesterday when I tried to run a scan of my system. The loading box flashed briefly and then disappeared, then nothing happened. I tried again several times but the same thing happened, no start screen for the spyware. I removed the programme from my computer and downloaded it again. When I tried to reinstall the loading screen flashed briefly and nothing else happened, no loading and no start screen. I have SP2 installed, I also run ad-adware, spybot and A squared as well as AVG anti virus. All worked and detected anything that managed to get on my pc. The others still work fine and will run scans etc. It is only the microsoft antispyware that will not load.
Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix this?
