I have got an MHTML Redir.Exploit virus.NAV finds 2 new ones EACH time I scan , says it has fixed them , and Norton support says detecting them is enough to make them inoperative, but they are back next scan. Each time they have a different file name, eg 675F4544 , 30A50BC5 , 46066C3E etc, each time a different combination of letters and numders. How can I get rid of them?

It sounds like it's finding them in your temporary Internet files. Some web pages have code that will be no harm a patched IE, but which will still be flagged by Norton.

Try emptying your temp Internet files before scanning. If that solves it, then it was nothing to worry about.

You can try to figure out what sites they're coming from and avoid them. You may also want to scan for adware/spyware in case you have some that's sending IE to places you never meant to visit.
