Comment:

I cleaned up a PC from some malware. I then had to uninstall McAfee & reinstall - I used a special cleanup utility to fully clean McAfee off before reinstalling.
Now when I open the McAfee security center and click "scan" - nothing happens. I'm not sure if the registry got currupted during cleaning - I had to run a command from the command line to get javascipt to work again too.

Any ideas on why McAfee won't do anything when "scan" is clicked ? A representative from McAfee wants me to remove and reinstall AGAIN !

Thanks
Rence
