and mcafee came up saying that it was infected with W32/Generic.worm!p2p

false alarm or no? thx.

why are you trying to D/L HJT anyways?
A good cleaning with the free progs listed in the red link work great for most problems.
Plus up-dated virus scans should keep you virus-free.
Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!
