mcafee: W32/Generic.worm!p2p

i went to download HiJackThis from the following site: www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php and mcafee came up saying that it was infected with W32/Generic.worm!p2p false alarm or no? thx.

nunyabiznaz, why are you trying to D/L HJT anyways? A good cleaning with the free progs listed in the red link work great for most problems. Plus up-dated virus scans should keep you virus-free. Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!

Summary: been getting this netd32.exe virus since yesterday [11/9/03]. The virus is being detected AND deleted by McAfee [av scanner] but it keeps coming back - not 100% sure if its the same virus other people...
