Hi, I have norton 2003 and mcaffe v7. Is there any danger running both of these at the same time, only i am very virus conscious after i ahd to format to a virus and lost all. If not which one would you recomend to run? also wjhat is the best software to download music i know kazaa is a very big problem what would you recomend

running both will slow down your pc, and eat up the resources, I use nav 2003, and download the intelligent updates daily,when the auto updates aren't available. http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/download.html as far as file sharing apps, winmx is suppose to be good, but I haven't tried it myself, just from what I've read.

Aside from slowing things down as www suggested the two can bump heads.
I suggest you stop using all file sharing apps or deal with the fact that you will be infected by a virus again. After being infected once you should have learned your lesson.
You should back data up to removable disk [cd-r] frequently. This is about the best/cheapest way to secure your data.
