Where do I even start...
This began with all my browsers becoming hijacked. I can't do a google search without being redirected to entirely unrelated webpages.
Now I've been having problems with three or four different programs claiming to be anti-virus software that create tons of popups and block most of my useful programs from opening. It's called itself Windows AntiVirus Pro, Windows Police Pro, and many others. Every time I think i've gotten rid of it and things are under control again, it pops up out of nowhere with a new name.

I can not do a system restore. Half the time I can't open task manager or the registry edit, and I get the blue screen of death when I try to start in safe mode. All of my anti-spyware, anti-malware and anti-adware tools won't open. And the newest problem is that when I start my computer, I get about 100 seperate error messages related to exe files and I pretty much can't open anything.

I have no idea where to go from here!

I've followed those directions already, but Malwarebytes won't run (even after killing the processes), and i can't start my computer in safemode because I get the BSOD.

If you have MBAM down loaded , try this , navigate to c:\program files\malwarebytes\mbam.exe and rename it to something else like 456.exe and them double click and run from there .
If on the other hand there is a problem downloading MBAM then rename mbamsetup.exe during the download .

stardusty, I just cleaned out a rootkit from a client's PC, the prob was exactly like yours.

1- go to start/run/msconfig
2- disable ALL startup items
3- reboot your PC.
That should stop most of the pop-ups.

If you can get on-line:
1- download Ccleaner Slim (no toolbar) and clean the PC, then click on the registry button and clean out all the registry problems....it is safe.
2- run Malwarebytes and remove all it finds
3- download Avast free and allow it to do a bootscan. Move all it finds to the chest , BUT, if the entries are in the windows files, be sure to google the results on another PC to see if they are safe to delete.

If that doesn't clear up your problem, try unhackme, it is free for 30 days, if you are unsure on how to run it, click on the beginners link on the left of the download page and follow the instructions.
That should cure your problem.

I repair PC's on a regular basis daily.

windows police pro is known to disable antivirus program and also prevent them from running. I suggest you try it in safemode or scan with other antivirus first to remove the trojan that preventing mbam from running, when the trojan is gone, thats the time you have to scan with mbam. Also remove windows police pro files first.

After an epic struggle, where I would have to run programs in a
very certain order, very carefully, and dealing with the BSOD
every 5 minutes, I think things are finally back to normal.
UnHack Me definitely helped a lot. I was then able to run
CCleaner and Malware Bytes. Selective startup also helped a
lot. I think my browsers are still hijacked, but i found that google
chrome at least still works. Thank you everyone, especially
XpUser4Real!

Reading all this and all other virus related programs makes me wonder if someone uses his or her brain before start clicking on FREE Scanners and whatnot.

If you come to website showing a free scanner doing a fake test on your computer have alook what it is doing. It is faking a scan on your C drive. If you have more than a C drive (D and E) did it not occur to you that it would be a hoax ??

GO AWAY of those sites.
The safest way is to hit CONTROL ALT DELETE - start taskmanager and kill the instance of your WEBBROWSER
This because CLOSE buttons and whatnot can be FAKE

But then, if their is an attack a PROPER Virusscanner, that is updated with the last definitionsfiles, will take care of all the crap that is attacking your computer.
For professional reasons I have check out Russian and Romainian sites where I know for sure there are scripts running to attack me and even then my Virusscanner and Network protection is keeping me safe.
BUY A PROPER SCANNER FROM WELL KNOWN BRANDS

I see people like XPUser4Real and JackFrost and some more helping you people out there in the most professional way but many of you come back with the same s--- after a while just because you did not learn anything from your problems/mistakes

Thanks and respect to all the people who help everybody here over and over again.

I understand your system problem actually you need Registry easy because in your system many types of error like window registry error occurred in your system. You when we uninstall some software that software can leave some error files that can corrupt your system. So that I am telling you Download registry easy. Then you can get result.

stardusty, you are most welcome! Glad to help.

doller99, WHY are you trying to promote a registry cleaner that does NOT function in the trial? That cleaner you suggest is a TOTAL rippoff.....any trial that finds lots of problems and then wants you to buy the program is a big farce!

Please REFRAIN from suggesting that junk!
