Malware JS_SEEKER?

I ran Housecall on a Windows NT Service
Pack 6a machine and it found a malware
trojan JS_SEEKER. WHAT THE HELL IS
A JS_SEEKER? DOES THAT DO
ANYTHING? I heard it changes the start
page, but it didn't do that.
