You may have noticed some of my posts in the past, i'm now going to sum up all of my problems in one go.

After a reformat, our internet was on for several hours without a firewall or virus checker. As you can imagine, we became infected with all manner of nasties. While we got rid of most of them, some of them have been quite persistant and WILL NOT GO AWAY no matter what I do.

The first is a process called wininigo.exe. I have made a sererate thread about this if you want to know the exact problem.

The second problem is several other processes which may or may not be malware; I'm not sure. These are:

Muamgrd.exe
host32.exe
msework.exe

I have no idea what any of them are, but all of them have tried to access the internet. I've been getting the box with "You or a program is trying to access the internet at:" . The places they've been trying to go to are:

sen.ccseniors.com
jupiter.syrolnet.org
rx00.xnet666.com
1.xdgz.com

I thought I would post these in case they ring any bells with anyone. Unfortunatly this dialog box does NOT tell me which process is trying to access the internet.

I can sense the obvious answers coming, so here is a little disclaimer. I have AVG antivirus, I have Ad-aware, I have spybot S&D and they are ALL updated. I have all of the windows critical updates. There does not seem to be any program that will pick any of these up. I am currently running housecall, although I doubt this will fix all of my problems.

Please help me, if all else fails I will reformat again, but I really don't want to have to resort to that.

did you:

1) go into your msconfig and uncheck all the programs you don't want to run. ( start>Run> and type msconfig then click the startup tab.)

2) go to add and remove programs and remove unwanted programs that may have been installed without your knowledge.

3) delete unwanted folders in your C:\program files folder.

4) go into your registry to HKLM/software/microsoft/windows/current version/run and HKCU/software/microsoft/windows/current version/run and delete any keys you dont want to execute at start up.

u might want to use some better spyware detectors here is what i suggest they arent free but i bet they find what adaware and spybot doesnt.

1. techtv says spyware eliminator is the best u be the judge.
http://www.aluriasoftware.com/

2. handy tool to use is called pestcontrol ...zonealarm reccommends it so try it out.
www.pestpatrol.com.

3. make sure u got some sort of firewall protections some good ones are sygate and zonealarm.
