Lycos Sidesearch PLEASE HELP!

Yes, I have searched this topic but haven't found much.
Please tell me how to get rid of this Lycos Sidesearch thing. I absolutely hate it!
I have run Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D and it has found a bunch of stuff which I deleted. I also went to the "add and remove programs" thing and removed the Lycos Sidesearch. I have restarted the computer and it's still there. Please help.
Basically the biggest problem is that I cannot copy and paste any type of link into IE, because it takes me to some stupid Lycos search page.
