Specs: Windows XP, 512
Ok i have no idea of the specs on the computer besides 512MB of Ram XP Home Edition Intel Pentium Processor 3.30GHz or something like that. But i have found the computer in peices and i put it back together. And have it running atleast. But it looks like its going to start up but then a Supposed System error pops up. Saying lsass.exe system error, Object name not found. Well from what i have read and somewhat understood this is a virus on the computer. Because of the lowercase l in lsass.exe so how can i fix this problem without useing another computer cause i tried to fix it with another computer and i think it bombed that HD too. Not sure yet tho. Can i use the XP Disc and Remove lsass.exe? I really need help on this one lol. Thanks.

If there's nothing you need on the HDD, don't waste your time trying to fix it....just boot off the XP CD, delete all partitions, recreate new partitions, format as NTFS, then install XP from scratch. Make sure you deteremine which drivers you need in advance...chipset, video, audo, network, etc.

What folder lsass.exe is located? It should be in C:\Windows\System32. If not then it is probably a malware. lsass.exe

Did you check your computer by antivirus?

Check Windows Event Viewer to see what application gives error.
